NIH T32 grant renewed for Rutgers Graduate Training Program in Biotechnology

The NIH NIGMS T32 grant that supports the Rutgers Graduate Training Program in Biotechnology, co-directed by Ann Stock and Martin Yarmush, was renewed for a 5-year period. The current award represents years 36-40 of continuous NIH funding. The Biotechnology Training Program was established in 1989 by CABM founding director Aaron Shatkin and distinguished professor of biomedical engineering Martin Yarmush to provide a select group of outstanding PhD students in bioengineering, bioscience and chemistry graduate programs with an integrated, multidisciplinary, educational and research training experience in biotechnology. Current biotech trainees at CABM include Mary Lally, Cindy Muco, David Pople and Joelle Reich.
