Bio
Cindy Muco is a Microbial Biology graduate student in Dr. Martin Blaser’s lab.
In Colorado, she studied trace minerals in the rumen fluid of cannulated steers,
bovine viral diarrhea transmission, and how antibiotic supplementation impacts
carcass characteristics as well as feedlot performance. Her research focuses
now on how the impact of antibiotics on the gut microbiome and immune system
can be restored.
