Congratulations to CABM postdoc Ernesto Berríos-Caro (Manhart lab) and Ph.D. student Mary Lally (Blaser lab), who both won best poster awards at the annual Rutgers University Microbiome Program retreat. Ernesto presented his work on “Multiscale Genotype–Phenotype Mapping: Identifying the Optimal Scale for Describing Evolution,” and Mary presented her work on “Parabiotic Mice Reveal a Systemic Response to Vancomycin-Mediated Microbiome Disruption.”
