Bio
Valeria Cardenas is a graduate student in Dr. Martin Blaser’s lab and Dr. Michael Manhart’s lab. She is currently in the Biomedical Sciences master's program. She received her BS in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology and in Physiology in 2024 from the University of Scranton. Her current research focuses on the presence of urea in breast milk and how it affects the growth and development of the gut microbiome during the early life stages.
