Bio
Michael is a senior undergraduate at Amherst College, MA, pursuing joint degrees in Neuroscience and Philosophy. He is interested in understanding the neurological basis of learning and memory and mechanisms of disease. Michael worked as a Research Assistant in the Milstein lab in Summer 2024 as part of the Rutgers NeuroSURP and CABM SURE programs. His project in the lab centered around constructing a biologically plausible artificial neural network that could learn effectively by using local error calculated in neuronal dendrites.
