Euntaik "Joshua" Kang

Joshua (Euntaik) Kang was an undergraduate student in Dr. Martin Blaser’s laboratory at the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine. His research with Ph.D. student Marry Lally focused on dissociating the local and systemic effects of antibiotics by studying the impact of antibiotics locally on the microbiome and systemically on the immune system and gene expression. Joshua joined the lab as soon as he started his undergraduate career in the fall of 2022 and was the only first-year student in Dr. Martin Blaser’s laboratory during the 2022-2023 academic year.
