The Rutgers Center for Advanced Biotechnology & Medicine as well as the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute at Rutgers University recently hosted 26 students from High Tech High School in Secaucus, NJ. The students applied their videography and graphic design skills to create an overview video for a new research study on maternal and child health at Rutgers University that will be launched in early 2024.

The students learned about important issues in child health and got a first-hand look at how samples like saliva and skin swabs are analyzed in a laboratory setting. The students filmed community volunteers in action for the video. After filming, the students spent time with members of the RU Videography Team at the Rutgers Lifelong Learning Center on the Cook Campus to tour a state of the art video production facility.
