This poster is the culmination of efforts from all SURE 2020 students. In addition to researching their individual projects in their own labs, they took the time to research the virus that has changed the way we interact during this summer research program. The students were divided into four groups and then asked to research a specific aspect of the COVID-19 epidemic. Each group was guided by a SURE leader as they explored their respective topics, which included: origins of the virus, life cycle of the virus, epidemiology studies of the disease, and vaccines currently being pursued to prevent the disease.
