Bio

Samuel Pan is currently studying the effects of antibiotic use on the development of type 1 diabetes (T1D) in mouse models. Understanding which bacteria protect against T1D and which bacteria accelerate T1D development would provide valuable information for antibiotic prescriptions and future targeted therapies.
