Bio

Ning Kuo completed her B.S. and M.S. at the University of Michigan in 2017 and 2019, respectively. She has participated in several disease-relevant projects related to human hepatocellular carcinoma, Cushing’s disease, congenital adrenal hyperplasia due to 21-hydroxylase deficiency, and porphyria. She also has worked with several experimental models, including zebrafish (Danio rerio), primary mouse hepatocytes, human hepatoma cell lines, and transgenic mice. Recently, her work focuses on finding and developing novel therapies for rare porphyrias.
