Johnson & Johnson now expected to ship only ‘a few million’ doses initially

Emergency use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration could be less than 10 days away for the Johnson & Johnson single-dose COVID-19 vaccine. However, new information from the federal government puts much lower expectations on the number of doses the company will initially produce.

That unexpected kink in Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine pipeline could impact plans for widespread public vaccinations both nationally and in New Jersey. Senior Correspondent Brenda Flanagan reports.
