Membership on this review committee provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the national biomedical research effort. Review committees review grant applications submitted to the NIH, make recommendations on these applications to the appropriate NIH national advisory council or board, and survey the status of research in their fields of science. These functions are of great value to medical and allied research in this country.
The focus of the TWD-C study section is diversity biomedical undergraduate, PhD and post-doctoral grants and review: MARC (T34), RISE (T32/T34), Bridges to the Doctorate (T32), Bridges to the Baccalaureate (T34), IRACDA (K12), PREP (R25) and IMSD (T32) programs.
