Shawn Rumrill (graduate student in the Arnold Lab) and Liisa Veerus (postdoctoral fellow in the Blaser Lab) have been awarded the RBHS-IDEA Innovation Grant ($2,000) for their proposal to organize a Rutgers Conference for Rising Stars in Graduate Research. The goal of the event is to provide underrepresented graduate students who have no prior experience in a scientific conference environment with an authentic conference experience at Rutgers.
