David Pople

Biography

Current Junior in the Rutgers Honors Program studying Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Joined the Arnold Lab as part of the 2021 summer undergraduate research experience (SURE) program and has continued work during the 2021-2022 academic year.

Research Interests

Modeling structure-activity relationships between rilpivirine, an HIV-1 non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI), analogs and a prevalent mutant of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase through docking simulations and X-ray crystallography experiments

Collaboration with Shandong University and the Arnold Lab
