Biography

Rayees Padder is working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Valvezan laboratory, Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his PhD under the mentorship of Dr Mohammad Husain at the Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Millia Islamia (A central University) New Delhi, India. During his PhD, he studied mitochondrial dynamics in colorectal carcinogenesis. In the Valvezan Laboratory, Rayees is interested in studying nucleotide metabolism in certain oncogenic settings with focus on PI3K/AKT/mTOR, in T-ALL and colorectal cancers.
